To maintain the asset details, you need to perform the following tasks:
1. Check hardware details using CPU-Z
2. Check hardware details using Msinfo32

Task 1: Checking Hardware Details using CPU-Z
To check the hardware details using CPU-Z, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Double-click the cpuz icon on the desktop. CPU-Z contains the information about the main components currently   installed in your computer. In consists of the following tabs:
- CPU: Shows the information about the CPU installed and the clock speed at which it is running.
- Cache: Shows the amount of L1 and L2 cache.
- Mainboard: Shows the manufacturer of the Motherboard, BIOS, and Chipset.
- Memory: Shows the general information about the memory.
- SPD: Shows the information of each memory module.
2. Observe and record the information in the table.
3. Close the CPU-Z window.

Task 2: Checking Hardware Details using Msinfo32
To check the hardware details using Msinfo32, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Select Start->Run. The Run dialog box is displayed.
2. Type Msinfo32 in the text box and click the OK button. The System Information window is displayed.          
3. Observe and record the information in the table.
4. Thereafter, close the System Information window.
